The resources listed here are both on-campus and off-campus, and are only suggestions - some resources in one category may be applicable to another. Crisis line for those thinking about suicide, know someone struggling with suicidal thoughts, or struggling to cope after someone they know has committed suicide. Find more resources and information here.

A bilingual, confidential 24/7 information, support, and crisis services for people living with mental health and addiction concerns in Elgin, Oxford, Middlesex, and London. GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE & SURVIVOR SUPPORT CASE MANAGER

ANOVA
Off-campus
Provides safe places, shelter, support, counselling, and resources for female-identifying individuals regarding gender-based and sexual violence. Contact the 24 hour crisis and support line at: (519) 642-3000 or 1(800) 265-1576.
ST. JOSEPH'S SEXUAL ASSAULT AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CENTRE
Off-campus
Provides 24/7 care to people of any age and gender identification experiencing sexual assault and/or domestic violence living in Oxford, Elgin, Huron-Perth and Middlesex counties. Contact: (519) 646-6100 ext. 64224 (or dial 0 after 4PM).
REGIONAL SEXUAL ASSAULT AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE TREATMENT PROGRAM (SADVTP)
Off-campus
A team of nurses, doctors, and social workers available 24/7 specializing in providing care to those who have experienced sexual violence. Contact: (519) 646-6100, press 0, ask to page the nurse-on-call for sexual assault and domestic violence.

MENTAL WELLNESS
WESTERN'S HEALTH & WELLNESS
Free, professional, confidential counselling service that offers consultation, referral, groups, workshops, and therapy. Operates Monday to Thursday 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Find more information here.
WESTERN ENGINEERING STUDENT WELLNESS COUNSELLOR

ConnexOntario is an information and referral service, focusing on mental health, addiction and problem gambling services in the province. Provides support via phone, web-chat and email 24/7. Find more information here.
PHYSICAL WELLNESS
WESTERN STUDENT RECREATION CENTRE (WSRC)
Western's Rec Centre has work out equipment, a pool, skate rink, and gyms. You can workout in the rec centre and use their facilities at no additional cost thorugh your Western ID Card. Find more information here.
WSRC FITNESS CLASSES
The WSRC offers a wide variety of programming in aquatics, dance, fitness and more! Find more information here.
INTRAMURALS
Intramurals offered through Western with sports including but not limited to basketball, dodgeball, and soccer. A variety of levels offered as well as divisions (women's, men's, and co-ed). Intramurals also include residence teams and e-sports! Find more information here.
MASSAGE THERAPY
Massage therapy services are offered through the WSRC. This service is not free or included in tuition, however, can be covered by benefits (which may be through tuition or other sources). Find more information here.
ACADEMIC WELLNESS
WESTERN ENGINEERING TUTOR INFORMATION
Western Engineering offers a free Super Tutor Program to first year students with some of their top students. For all students, there is a list of available tutors for Western Engineering courses. Find more information here.
USC PEER SUPPORT
Non-professional confidential, peer based support to students. The centre is located at UCC 256, open every week Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, during the academic year. Find more information here.

GROUP CARE AND WORKSHOPS
Western offers a variety of group care and workshops in which you can participate. Groups typically range from 5-12 people and have different areas of focus. There are also four wellness workshops available to you through Zoom. Find more information here.
